Wirtshaus zum Geiss in Straubing

Even at Christmas the food to warm up yourself was excellent. The kitchen performed at its best. I would say Geiss can score here too. We're not fans of the whole concept for nothing. Also imaginative in these times when many people bury their heads in the sand, but not the Geiss team. I wish you continued success in the future and look forward to being your guests.

Exceptionally good cuisine, also very quickly

I can only recommend Zum Geiss. The whole ambience, food, drinks, boss + employees are always a good decision to have a nice evening there. 😃😁 Unfortunately it is currently not possible due to lockdown "light". 🙄 We are really looking forward to when the gates are opened and we can have a nice evening ... Super nice tavern with a great kitchen. The menu is manageable, but a very good selection. The dishes were all delicious and a simple dish like Käsespätzle was interpreted differently. We loved it. We were served really well by Verena. She was very attentive and friendly. A very warm and happy woman who made the evening really perfect for us. We'll definitely be back!

Today we went to the Geiss to eat. We had the cordon bleu and the roast pork. The food was excellent in taste and the value for money is simply unbeatable. We have seldom been served such good fried potatoes! The staff is friendly and you just feel comfortable!

For us, the concept is completely consistent. Quaint ambience, courteous service, excellent food, varied weekly menus and most importantly: an unconventional landlady who runs her restaurant and team with passion. Unique, but not good.

Very good and friendly boss and waitress 🤙🤙🤙 despite the full restaurant, we got space for 3 people, pleasant back garden! Everything great !!! I would love to come back 👏👏👏😋😋😋

As a vegetarian who does not tolerate lactose, eating out is not always easy. But the waitresses are always helpful and very friendly. Doesn't work, doesn't exist. The boss herself is always eager to please her guests. Here you feel very, very comfortable as a guest. Can be recommended without reservation. Food plentiful and very, very tasty. Keep up the good work👍

Last time here for the first time in several years. Great registration via mobile phone, as well as the menu. The two waitresses in a good mood and very personable. The food was very good, just a Wiener schnitzel but very tasty, just the right thickness and great breading. I would have preferred fried potatoes, but the fries were good too. Price performance really reasonable. Thank you very much and stay healthy.

The restaurant is typical Bavarian furnished. The service was excellent. The food was picked up quickly and served within 15 minutes, although the restaurant was pretty busy. The taste was ok. Value for money is adequate. The portions could still be a bit lusher.
